There has been a Campsite at Mynydd Du from the early 1940’s when the previous owners, Mr & Mrs Richard Williams,  ran it along side their 60 acre small holding farm.  In the early 2000’s, Mr Williams gave us the opportunity to purchase the farm land around Mynydd Du which proved to be a great addition to our family farm that we already owned next door.

In 2003, Mr Williams decided that he wanted to retire and gave us another opportunity to purchase the Campsite.  At the time of acquiring the Campsite, we knew it would be a very useful diversification to our Farming business, although we had no knowledge of how to run or maintain a Campsite at what was at the time just bare grass fields along with two concrete block buildings housing the Toilets/shower blocks.

Moving on two decades later and after a lot of hard work, the improvements are here for everyone to enjoy and expect,  we now offer pitches for Motorhomes, Caravans, Camper vans and Tents.  All our pitches are hardstanding or grass and fully serviced with electric hookup, water points and waste disposal.  We have two modern Washroom facilities.  One block offers individual showers, toilets and wash hand basins and the other block offers individual family wet rooms.  Both blocks also offer full Disabled facilities. We have facilities for Washing up, Fridge and Freezers along with a Washing machine and tumble dryer in the Lower block.

We also have Chemical waste points and a comprehensive Recycling area for all rubbish.

For the children we have a small area of Swings and a large field for Children to play games and Football.
