Mynydd Du Caravan Park is situated on the A497, one mile from the seaside town of Criccieth and four miles from Porthmadog. The entrance to the Park is clearly signed posted from the road. The postcode is LL52 0PS (please note we also share our Post code with our neighbours) and our telephone number is 01766 523023. Email: enquiries@mynydddu.co.uk.

The Park is situated on gently sloping land which is South/East facing towards Cardigan Bay. A public footpath has access through the park and into the touring field which joins numerous other local footpaths.

There is a gravel ring road around the park and the speed limit is 5 mph.

All pitches are level and generous in size.  All hardstanding and grass pitches are fully serviced pitches which provide water,  grey waste drainage and electric hookup. The park is served with 16 amp hook ups.

We have one block of Male and Female Toilet/Shower facilities, separate Disabled facilities, Laundry and dishwashing, refuse and full recycling facilities and chemical disposal which are located by the entrance to the park and another block in the top touring field which have Wet rooms/family rooms along with a Disabled room. These also have a dishwashing area with fridge/freezer, full recycling facilities and chemical disposal. All facilities are well lit at night and are covered by CCTV. There is also Car Parking near both toilet blocks.

The Disabled facilities include a large shower with removable seat, toilet, washbasin, hand dryer and shaver point. Grab rails are in place in these facilities. There is wheelchair access to the Laundry facilities, dishwashing, local information, chemical disposal points and refuse and recycling area.

Reception is located at the top of the park, parking is available and we are happy to give assistance to site your Caravan if needed. Mobile telephone coverage is good for most networks with a ‘4G’ mast locally.  Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, subject to password.

Fire Extinguishers are located in ten different locations, which are marked on the Site Map which is located by the reception.

Public transport is available and is a five minute walk from the site entrance by the main road, to the bus stop in Pentrefelin. Bus timetables can be found on www.gwynedd.llyw.cymru under ‘Bus Timetables’.
