Our season starts on the 1st March and ends on the 31st October.

Bookings can be made by telephoning 01766 523023 from the 1st February.  

Please note we do not accept bookings for Touring from 1st November to 31st January.

We will require a deposit of £10 per night upon booking.  We only accept debit cards and cheques.  Your balance will be required to be paid in full before arrival.

We do not allow one night stays and no On-Spec arrivals.

We have a minimum of a four night stay during the school holidays with the exception of a three night stay for Bank holidays.

You may arrive after 2.00 p.m.  If you intend to arrive after 6.30 p.m,  please telephone 01766 523023 or let us know when you make your booking. 

Departures by 11.00 a.m.

Please note we are not in control of the Weather!

If you cut short your stay with us for whatever reason, unless it is under Government regulations, your booking will be NON REFUNDABLE.

COVID 19 – Postponement and Cancellation for 2023 Season

This clause explains when you, or we, may cancel or agree to postpone your holiday due to Government restrictions. We prefer that you postpone but will always allow you to cancel where the law gives you the right to do so.

The rights in this clause are additional to any other rights either of us may have in our terms and conditions.

We promise to keep all our customers safe. We ask you not to book if the law prevents you visiting or staying with us, or if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us even if the law still allows you to. Our promise also means that there are limited circumstances in which we may need to cancel your holiday.

Either of us has the right to cancel your holiday, or any full unused days, if the law prevents you from visiting or staying with us. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full less any costs we have already incurred on your holiday which we cannot recover elsewhere (“Direct Costs”). If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any full days unused when we cancel, again less any Direct Costs. We will not charge an administration fee.

Either of us also has the right to cancel your holiday, or any full unused days, if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us, even if the law still allows you to do so. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any full days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.

Changes to our facilities and services

We may make reasonable changes to the facilities and services at the park provided these changes do not materially reduce their quality. Our changes may reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements or implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a health and safety risk.

If we make changes to the facilities and services at the park which materially reduce their quality, we will give you the choice between confirming your booking, agreeing new booking dates with us or cancelling. If your holiday has not started and you decide to cancel, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any full days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee, and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.

For all other cancellations not due to Government regulations

If you cancel your booking the following charges will apply:-

Full refund (if you have paid the outstanding balance) minus the deposit for cancellations more than 14 days or we can transfer your booking to another date within the current season.

Cancellations within 14 days or less no refund.

We offer fully serviced hardstanding pitches and fully serviced grass pitches.  Each pitch has enough room for a Caravan or Motorhome or Camper van and an awning with a car by the side.

All tents have to book an individual pitch irrespective of its size.  All tent pitches have electric hookup and water points.

All pitches are accessible by road and have a mountain or sea view.

Please ensure you leave enough space around you and do not encroach on your neighbours pitch.

We allow a maximum of two dogs which must be well behaved and to remain on leads at all times.  They are not allowed to be exercised in the Children's Playing Field - please exercise off site.  Please ensure you clean up after your dog and place waste bags in the appropriate bins that we have in place.  All our grass cuttings are fed back to our Livestock and please do not enter any fields as our livestock will be grazing.

All well behaved breeds of dogs are welcome, with the exception of prohibited breeds as listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

We do allow Gazebos, which must be booked in at time of booking.

BBQs are allowed, which have to be raised off the grass.  Please do not leave unattended and allow to go completely cold before of disposing.

We do not allow Fire-pits or open fires.

No, we are a family site and take only Families and Couples. We do take single guests.

Mynydd Du is a family campsite, we do not have a Clubhouse and visitors are not permitted on site. We do not allow excessive drinking or loud music. Noise levels to be reduced by 10.30p.m. Open fires are not allowed. All children must be supervised and not allowed to walk off on their own.

Please respect your fellow neighbours.

We reserve the right to refuse entry and ask anyone to leave.

Wifi is a free service.   We cannot guarantee the availability or the speed of the service.  It is only suitable for social media and emails.  When the park is busy it will be extremely slow. It does not have the capacity to download films etc or the use of Firesticks and Wifi boosters are not allowed. You are welcome to bring your own Data dongles if you require more download. We have a 4G mast within the area.
